Food: Restaurants, Stores & Dandy

One of the best parts of riding the Endless Gravel PA network is experiencing the region's locally owned businesses along the way. Most routes launch from or near welcoming trail towns with restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, breweries, lodging, and regional favorites like Dandy convenience stores—an iconic Northern Tier stop for made-to-order food, snacks, and quick resupply.

While services are generally available every 20–40 miles, some stretches are more remote, so riders should carry enough food and water between resupply points.

Each Ride with GPS route includes detailed POIs highlighting recommended places to eat, shop, refill water, and stock up on supplies, helping you confidently plan each day's adventure.

Water & Hydration

While many routes passes through towns with opportunities to refill bottles and restock supplies, some sections travel through remote forests and backroads where services are limited.

Riders should carry enough water between resupply points and be prepared to treat natural water sources using a filter, chemical purification, or by boiling water when camping.

Surface water sources shown on the Ride with GPS maps are generally reliable but can vary with seasonal conditions, and outdoor spigots or campground pumps may be turned off during colder months.
